The bi-color, giant bracts of 'Make a Wish' come in sweet pink with hints of white toward the border. It branches pretty early and blooms crazily as well. The color intensity of the blooms, like most Crown Of Thorns depends on the amount of light the plant gets. Blooms tend to be deeper in color when exposed to a shadier area and lighter when it gets a lot of sun. During winter, the giant bracts transform into a spectacular ruby red. Blooms can get really huge, mostly they open wide and flat but sometimes they remain half opened.
