Midori is one of the earliest fancy-colored cultivars that has caught my attention for its striking visual appeal. The large bracts exhibit an initial pristine white coloration, which gradually evolves to feature delicate hints of pink. As the blooms progress through their life cycle, the bracts undergo a transformation, maturing into a deep cream hue while the pink speckles intensify into a captivating purplish pink. 

This lovely cultivar, maybe an old release, but is a priced addition to your collection, not only in terms of flower color, but also because of its resilience to heat and diseases.
