Euphorbia Milii Crown of Thorns "Mon Rak" Coronas de Cristo Thai Hybrid

NEW and LIMITED AVAILABILITY.

“Mon Rak” Crisp Bloom Form — The Cult Taco‑Style Crown of Thorns

This newly released, premium hybrid Crown of Thorns "Mon Rak" stands out immediately for its extraordinary bract form—broad, jumbo-sized, and uniquely ruffled with wavy edges that fold inward like delicate botanical tacos. Its blossoms open in a refined pink, then deepen toward a rich red as the seasons progress, offering collectors a dynamic display of color throughout the year. As a recent introduction to the horticultural scene, this cultivar brings a fresh and distinctive aesthetic to any Euphorbia milii collection, combining impressive size, unusual structure, and an evolving palette that reflects its premium breeding lineage.

Please note that this specific offering of Crown of Thorns CHIANG DAO is a freshly imported bare-root cuttings from my favorite Thai grower.

Unlike the leafy plants I normally ship, these beauties are processed immediately upon arrival from the USDA Plant Inspection Station. Coming straight through customs means they arrive without leaves, flowers, or buds in accordance with USDA rules. They are bare rooted and ready for you to wake them up in their new home!

With a little patience and the right care, these rooted cuttings will develop leaves, put on fresh growth, and reward you with beautiful blooms in the seasons ahead. There is something truly special about watching a bare cutting transform into a flowering plant that is uniquely yours.

Offered is one bare rooted small plant without leaves, approximately 5 inches long, not grafted. You will receive one of the rooted cuttings shown on the last photo.
