Euphorbia Milii Crown of Thorns "Kiang Duan" Coronas Poysean
Some Crown of Thorns cultivars "shout" for attention.
Kiang Duan prefers to whisper.
Its blooms unfold in shades of blush pink, peach cream, and soft champagne, as if sunset light has settled gently upon every petal. New flowers emerge with a rosy glow before mellowing into creamy ivory tones kissed with the faintest pink edges. The result is a living bouquet that changes character as the blooms mature.
There is a quiet sophistication to this cultivar. Rather than dazzling with brightness, it captivates with softness, elegance, and the kind of beauty that keeps drawing your eyes back for another look.
And after waiting two years to obtain it, I can honestly understand why. Some cultivars are beautiful. A few become obsessions. Kiang Duan clearly belongs to the latter category.
Please note that this specific offering of Crown of Thorns KIANG DUAN is a newly imported bare-root cutting from my favorite Thai grower.
Unlike the leafy plants I normally ship, these beauties are processed immediately upon arrival from the USDA Plant Inspection Station. Coming straight through customs means they arrive without leaves, flowers, or buds in accordance with USDA rules. They are bare rooted and ready for you to wake them up in their new home!
With a little patience and the right care, these rooted cuttings will develop leaves, put on fresh growth, and reward you with beautiful blooms in the seasons ahead. There is something truly special about watching a bare cutting transform into a flowering plant that is uniquely yours.
Offered is one bare rooted small plant without leaves, approximately 5 inches long. You will receive one bare rooted cutting similar to the ones shown on the last photo.
*The samples on the last photo is a collection of different varieties. Some varieties are longer and fatter than the others.
