“Mon Rak” Crisp Bloom Form — The Cult Taco‑Style Crown of Thorns

This newly released, premium hybrid Crown of Thorns "Mon Rak" stands out immediately for its extraordinary bract form—broad, jumbo-sized, and uniquely ruffled with wavy edges that fold inward like delicate botanical tacos. Its blossoms open in a refined pink, then deepen toward a rich red as the seasons progress, offering collectors a dynamic display of color throughout the year. As a recent introduction to the horticultural scene, this cultivar brings a fresh and distinctive aesthetic to any Euphorbia milii collection, combining impressive size, unusual structure, and an evolving palette that reflects its premium breeding lineage. madness.

What you are buying
  • Physical Specifications: One (1) premium, rooted Crown of Thorns cutting.
  • Size Range: Approximately 9 inches in length.
  • Visual State: Shipped without leaves and without flowers, one of the cuttings shown in the last photo

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COLLECTORS (Understanding the "Vegetative State"):
These specimens are currently in a natural, protective import-induced dormancy. Please review these crucial biological signs upon arrival:

The Dry Root Zone is Normal: The base and external skin of the cutting may appear completely dry. This is an excellent sign! It proves the cutting has properly callused over, protecting the core cells from moisture shock and fungal pathogens during transit.

The Inner Core is Active: While the cutting looks inactive on the outside, the inner vascular system is firm, solid, and in an active vegetative mood. As long as the cutting is firm to a gentle squeeze (not mushy, not soft), it is 100% healthy and ready to push roots.

No Leaves/Flowers is Safer: Shipping succulents with active leaves causes transpiration stress, which leads to rot. By shipping them clean and bare, the cutting conserves 100% of its internal energy to develop a massive root system in your garden or greenhouse.

QUICK START GREENHOUSE GUIDE FOR NEW COLLECTORS:
The Soil: Plant directly into a highly porous, fast-draining succulent mix (70% perlite or coarse sand and 30% peat/potting soil).

The Position: Place the pot in warm, bright, indirect sunlight. Do not place in baking, direct afternoon sun until active green leaf buds sprout.

The Water: Keep the medium barely damp. Mist the thorny stems gently to provide ambient humidity. Do not overwater a cutting without leaves, as it cannot process standing water yet

All cuttings are personally inspected, sterile-trimmed, and guaranteed firm and rot-free before being packed into your shipping box.
