Endemic to Papua New Guinea, Hoya archboldiana (Archibald's Hoya) has large, long and pointed, stiff, thick, clean (no flecking), dark green leaves that has a prominent line that runs along the center. Leaves develop veining as they mature. A large bloomer, its pink corollas are cupped and curve backwards, paler pink towards the center. Coronas are a deep pink, almost red. Blooms last more than 10 days and they emanate a faint gardenia scent. This is one gorgeous hoya and easy to grow. Blooms appear anywhere from spring on, till the warm weather endures.
Most large/huge-blooming Hoyas are slow to produce flowers in areas where there is a long period of hard winter, so it is advisable to bring them in once cold weather sets in.
Offered is one Hoya archboldiana nice-sized plant, over 8 inches tall from leaf tip to bottom of pot, and have 4 fully developed leaves, shown on the last 4 photos.
